Pierre-Marc Bouchard scored a rediculous goal tonight in the Wild’s 4-1 win over Vancouver. Just after killing a 5-on-3 power play, he took the puck alone on Nikolai Khabibulin and went in with a spin-o-rama. Here’s the video from NHL.com.Vodpod videos no longer available.
Here’s Bob Kurtz on WCCO Radio PxP for Butch’s goal, courtesy MN Wild Pondcast.
If you recall, PMB scored on the same move in a shootout win a few years ago, and the goalie was, of course Khabibulin, when he played for the Blackhawks. Pretty much the same goal. Here’s that video, for nostalgia’s sake.
Jared Spurgeon also scored his first NHL goal for the Wild tonight. It was a big win that catapulted the Wild into 5th in the Western Conference. Clutch win in a tight playoff race. It’s got this guy thinking about playoff hockey.
It’s good to have PMB back, my friends.
