Wild Need a Stopper Tonight

It’s awfully ironic that on Groundhog Day, the Wild are in Dallas. In their last 11 games, the Wild are winless in tbeir last 11 games. 0-8-3 to be exact. Just a few weeks ago they were down 4-0 before making a comeback and eventually losing 4-3.

So tonight, someone’s gotta be a stopper. Someone has to step up and put an end to the American Airlines Center losing streak, to the win-3-lose-3 season. To the never-ending Groundhog Day loop. Will it be Josh Harding, who could be getting his last start for the injured Niklas Backstrom? Will it be one of the vertetans scoring a couple goals? Will the D take it upon themselves to stay out of an early deficit?

I’m hoping so. A win leapfrogs the Stars in the standings. And most importantly puts the Wild back on track with a nice homestand up next before the Olympic break.
